The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a. Directions to respondent no. 1 & 2 to share the information that when "Stayamev jayata" for the first time introduced upon the one rupee nonjuridical stamp paper in the state of Haryana. b. Direction to the respondent no. 1 & 2 directing them to kindly provides the copy/photo copy of the sample of the One Rupee non-judicial stamp paper for the state of Haryana as per the rule. c.

Direction to the respondent no. 1 & 2 directing them to kindly provides the copy/photo copy of the sample of the One Rupee non-judicial stamp paper for the state of Punjab as per the rule." 2.

The petitioner had filed an application under the Right to

Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) seeking the aforesaid information which was denied by a communication dated 24.11.2014. A perusal of the said communication indicates that the petitioner was informed that an appeal against the said order could be filed before the Appellate Authority. 3.

It is seen from the above that the petitioner is, essentially, aggrieved by the denial of information under the RTI Act. An appeal to the First Appellate Authority is provided for in terms of Section 19 of the RTI Act. Further, the Second Appeal is also provided for in terms of Section 19 (3) of the said Act. The petitioner has not exhausted any of the appellate remedies and has filed the present petition before this Court. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of by leaving it open for the petitioner to avail of alternate remedies. VIBHU BAKHRU, J APRIL 16, 2019 pkv
