The present petition raises a grievance as regards unauthorised construction being carried out in properties bearing No. A- 5, Ground Floor, Kh.No.707/1, 702/2, 708, Har Govind Enclave, Village Chhaterpur Enclave, New Delhi and another Plot Bearing No. A-1, A-2, A-3, A-6, Chhaterpur, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the MCD, who appears on advance notice, submits that the said properties have already been booked for unauthorised construction and demolition order has been passed. He further submits that appropriate demolition action in accordance with law shall be taken expeditiously, and in any event, within a period of 8 weeks from today. 3.

It is further submitted that the MCD shall expeditiously inspect the property in question and if any unauthorised construction is found to be ongoing, immediate steps shall be taken to put the same to an immediate The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Necessarily, the same shall be without prejudice to the statutory rights and remedies of the concerned owners/occupiers of the property in question. 5.

Considering the aforesaid statement of the learned counsel for the MCD, no further order/s are required to be passed in the present petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.
