Exemption allowed, subject to the condition that petitioner will file the duly sworn/attested affidavit and the requisite Court fee within 72 hours from the date of resumption of the regular functioning of this Court.

W.P.(CRL) 994/2020 6.

This petition is filed for grant of parole for a period of eight weeks on the ground of COVID-19 pandemic filed by the petitioner herein.

The petitioner has been convicted under Section 302/353/332/186/34 IPC and is sentenced for life. It is stated earlier

also the parole was granted vide order dated 19.02.2019 in W.P.(Crl.) 170/2019 and again he filed a W.P.(Crl.) 89/2020 which was allowed on 21.05.2020.

However he has enjoyed the parole but as per learned ASC he has not surrendered in time and had sought extension from this Court but such request was disallowed. The petitioner has not surrendered till date and presently is in Jabalpur. It is alleged he is BC of the Punjabi Bagh Police Station.

Considering the facts this Court is not inclined to give any indulgence.
