This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 0101/2020 under section 420 of IPC registered at PS Paschim Vihar West on 27.02.2020. 2.

The allegation in the FIR is with regard to cheques, allegedly given by the petitioner which were dishonoured. Hence, the complaint. 3.

I am informed that the complaint was subsequently transferred for investigation to EOW.

This Court vide Order dated 03.07.2020 granted interim protection to the petitioner.

Ms. Dalal, learned APP has handed over a copy of the latest status report, wherein it has been stated that the complainant has already initiated The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. proceedings under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 against the petitioners which are pending before the concerned Court. 6.

It has further been opined that the matter is of a civil nature and the prosecution has already filed its cancellation report before the CJM (Central), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 29.10.2024. 7.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances i.e. Section 138 complaints have been filed by the complainant and the prosecution has filed the closure report, the interim protection granted to the applicant vide order dated 03.07.2020 is made absolute and it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Investigating Officer. 8.

All other terms and conditions will be considered by the concerned Court as and if any protest petition is filed. 9.

The Status report handed over in Court today is taken on record. 10.

The application is allowed and disposed of.
