The present petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 283/2021 dated 24th August, 2021 registered under Section 344 of the Indian Penal Code, 18601 and Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989.

The present petition was filed during the pendency of the investigation in the aforementioned FIR. Upon conclusion of the investigation, the Prosecution submitted a cancellation report dated 29th November, 2023, to which the Complainant, filed a protest petition. After considering the rival positions, the Trial Court, by order dated 2nd August, 2025, accepted the cancellation report and dismissed the protest petition. 3.

In view of the subsequent developments, nothing further survives for 1 "IPC"

adjudication in the present petition. Once the Trial Court, by its order dated 2nd August, 2025, accepted the cancellation report and dismissed the protest petition, the criminal proceedings emanating therefrom have already been brought to a close in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above, this Court finds no occasion to issue any further directions.
