I have been informed that the fmal arguments are being advanced by the parties.
Even though, Mr. Salwan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner(s) seeks 18 months time for the learned sole Arbitrator to render the award, this Court is of the view that the time sought is not reasonable and appropriate shall be that the time be extended by one year to enable the learned sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award effective from June 01,2020. It is ordered accordingly. Noting the prevailing situation in view of Covid-19, appropriate for the learned sole Arbitrator shall be to consider holding the proceedings through video conferencing.
