This petition has been filed by the petitioner feeling aggrieved of the non consideration of the application filed by the petitioner under the provisions of The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Rules thereunder. The said application was filed by the petitioner before the concerned authority on 22.10.2019 and the petitioner asserts that no date of hearing has been fixed for the same till date. 2.
The learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that due to certain administrative reasons, the said application has not been listed. She however, assures the Court that the said application would be taken up for hearing with full expedition.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to make an endeavour to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of four weeks from today. The hearing may also be conducted by the respondent no. 2 through video conferencing, to which the learned counsel for the petitioner has expressed the petitioner's readiness. The petitioner shall provide the email addresses/telephone numbers of the petitioner and the respondents in the original application filed by herr, if available with the petitioner, to the respondent no. 2 for setting up such hearing through video conferencing. 4.
