O R D E R

% 01.02.2017 This petition seeks quashing of FIR No.475/2016 under Section 354(D)/323/506/509 IPC registered at PS Dwarka North in view of amicable settlement arrived at between the parties with the assistance of their elders.

Both the petitioner and respondent no.2 are present in the court today with their respective counsel. Respondent no.2 has been identified by the Investigating Officer. Photocopies of Identity Cards of the parties, counter signed by the IO, are taken on record. The learned counsel for the respondent no.2 states that she is not willing to pursue her complaint any further since the petitioner has apologised to her and has assured the parents of respondent no.2 that he would not harass her or otherwise cause any trouble to her.

Petitioner who is present in the court expresses his contrition and apology to the respondent no.2 and assures the court that he would always conduct himself as a gentleman. As testimony of his expiation, he has volunteered to donate one unit blood today itself and to do community service on three consecutive Saturdays and Sundays (six days) by assisting the traffic police in managing the traffic. In this regard, he shall report to the Circle Inspector, Seemapuri, Delhi on 4th February, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The latter shall file compliance report in this regard by 23rd March, 2017. The petitioner too shall file an affidavit regarding proof of donation of blood as well as having completed the community service by the same date. The learned counsel for the State submits that since the parties have compromised the lis amicably, he too has no objection to FIR being quashed.

Accordingly FIR No.475/2016 under Section 354(D)/323/506/509 IPC registered at PS Dwarka North and all proceedings emanating there from are hereby quashed. The petition is disposed off in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J FEBRUARY 01, 2017 SM
