Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioners submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the grievances ventilated by the Petitioners have been redressed as the Respondents have issued a W.P.(C) 3940/2020 Page 1 of 2 AMIT NARAYAN BHARTHUAR Location:

Notification dated 13.10.2021, whereby the concerned Respondent has included the qualification of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Degree Course from any National Council for Teacher Education recognised Institution, in the concerned Regulations, by virtue of which Petitioners are now eligible for appointment as teachers for Classes I to V. The relevant amendment is as under:- "Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed."

(3). In the said notification, in paragraph 3, after clause (b), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - "(c) who has acquired the qualification of three-year integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed. from any National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V:

Provided that the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher."

We are also informed by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CBSE that the time for filing online applications has been accordingly extended and thus, no prejudice is caused to the Petitioners. 3.

In view of the aforesaid submissions and the Notification dated 13.10.2021, the grievances of the Petitioners stand redressed. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of along with all the pending applications, in the above terms.
