This is a State appeal against the discharge of order dated 29th November 2019 passed by ASJ Patiala House Courts. 2.

Brief facts of the case are that on 10th February 2011 at about 2.45 P.M., four taxis were found out of which three taxis belonging to the accused were found to be using forged car stickers of Lok Sabha Television, Parliament of India.

On investigation, it was found that the logos were not issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat and that they were photocopies. 4.

Accused persons had submitted that they were owners of the taxis and they had not pasted those stickers on the cars in question. The drivers were not examined.

hired those vehicles by an agreement and they were authorized to enter Lok Sabha Secretariat basis the stickers.

The Trial Court noted that there is nothing on record that suggests pasting a photocopy of logo of Lok Sabha for hired vehicles, is illegal, nor any official of Lok Sabha had raised an objection nor any complaint had been made by any official of the Lok Sabha.

The agreement of hiring the vehicles by the Lok Sabha Secretariat was also placed on record. Agreement for engagement of the transport vehicles dated 30th March 2009, executed between the Lok Sabha Secretariat and M/s. Saini Tours also forms part of the Trial Court record. 8.

The Court has perused the said agreement and finds that it is a detailed agreement based on which the engagement was done. Respondent no. 1 is the proprietor of Saini Tours and has signed the agreement. Respondent number 2 is the person from whom respondent no. 1 took vehicles on hire and supplied to the Lok Sabha Secretariat.

The Court has perused the order and does not find any infirmity or impropriety or illegality in the said order.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
