These matters have been called out twice today. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions, submits that these matters have now become infructuous. Learned Counsel submits that the present Petitions, in essence, entails disputes inter se the members of the Waqf Board and the Chairperson. Learned Counsel further submits that there is no WAQF Board in existence after August, 2023 and thus, the dispute inter se the erstwhile members do not require adjudication. The record reflects that no formal Notice has been issued in these matters despite the matters being pending for the last three years. 4.

A perusal of the record reflects that on 18.08.2022, learned Counsel for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 submitted that a decision in the matter has been taken and is now pending approval with the Hon'ble Lt. Governor. Thereafter adjournment requests were sought by both the parties including on 08.09.2022, 04.11.2022, 13.02.2023 and 21.08.2024. 5.

None appears for the Petitioners. There was no presence on the last date of hearing as well.

The Petitions are accordingly dismissed in default and for nonprosecution. 7.
