The Petitioner in the present petition claims to be entitled to membership of the New Saraswati Cooperative Group Housing Society Ltd. (hereinafter, 'the society') on the ground of certain Powers of Attorney (hereinafter, 'PoAs') which have been executed in respect of membership of Mrs. Krishna Chawla.

original member of the Society, with Registration No. 467 had tendered her resignation and thereafter, one Mrs. Veena Chowdhry had submitted an application seeking enrolment. Her membership was accepted and upon clearance of financial dues, possession was granted to Mrs. Veena Chowdhry. 5.

Thereafter, however, various PoAs appear to have been executed and rights of the membership appear to have been transferred to Ms. Janak Rani, Mr. Sharawan Kumar Aggarwal and Mrs. Savita Goel vide PoAs dated 25th January, 1991, 15th January, 1991 and 23rd November, 2005, respectively. 6.

The Petitioner who is the last PoA holder seeks regularisation of the membership in respect of flat no. F-86, Sector-9, Rohini, Delhi-110085. 7.

The Court has considered the matter.

The documents in respect of the Petitioner, including the chain of various PoAs have not been placed on record.

Under these circumstances, the only direction that the Court is inclined to issue is that the present petition may be considered as a representation and the RCS shall take a view after hearing the Petitioner in accordance with law. 10.

Needless to add, this Court has not opined on the merits of the matter. 11.

The first hearing before the RCS shall be held on 11th June, 2026. The Society and the Petitioner shall appear on the said date. The RCS shall give them a hearing, peruse the documents and take a decision as per law. 12.

The petition is disposed of in these terms. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
