Pursuant to the directions passed by this Court on 08th August 2024, it is informed by the APP for the State, on instructions, that all witnesses have been examined, except for one SI Mahesh, who is on medical leave and is expected to be examined day after tomorrow. It is stated that SI Mahesh will be present to record his testimony before the Trial Court as per date scheduled.

APP for the State submits that petitioner will be under risk of fleeing if given bail, considering the trial is at the fag end of completion, there is substantial circumstantial evidence against the accused/petitioner including recovery of the key, statement of the neighbours of altercations between him and the deceased, post-mortem report which notes scuffle and abrasions, and application of Section 106 Indian Evidence Act, considering the premises The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In the circumstances, this Court directs that the trial be now completed within a month's time.

Counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition at this stage, considering the directions passed by this Court with liberty to approach this Court in case the trial gets unnecessary prolonged. 5.

Needless to state, the above recordal is for purposes of bail and no view has been expressed on the merits of the matter. 6.

Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty granted. 7.
