The matter has been placed before us in the National Lok Adalat with the consent of parties, who are present through their counsel.

2. The parties have settled the dispute. The New India Assurance Company Limited-Respondent has agreed to pay a lump sum enhancement of Rs.2,50,000/- over and above the Award of the MACT of Rs.15,35,000/- 3.

At the request of the learned counsel, the New India Insurance Company Limited-Respondent is granted four weeks time to deposit the cheque with the Secretary, Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee, failing which it will carry interest @ 9% per annum on delayed deposit, MAC.APP. 477/2019

The Secretary, Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee may then release the cheque to Amaritesh Kumar/appellant in terms of the Award on production of documents of identification.

The matter is accordingly settled.

This Award be placed on the record of the case. 7.

The file be consigned.
