At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents informs that the decision has already been taken by MCD on 28.08.2024 and the petitioners have been given alternate sites at Mata Sundri Road, Ward No.77, Delhi Gate and a communication in this regard has already been sent to the petitioners. Alternate sites mentioned in such communication are as under:- S.No.

communication has been received and he has been apprised in this regard by the petitioners today itself.

Learned counsel for the respondents also informs that despite the above said communication, the petitioners are not willing to utilize the above said alternate site which fact has been disputed by learned counsel for the petitioners.

Be that as it may, if the petitioners are willing to make use of the alternate site, as reflected in the above said communication, the respondents shall handover the possession of the respective sites to the petitioners on coming Monday (16.12.2024) between 11:00 am to 12 noon. It is expected that the petitioners would render due assistance and cooperation in this regard.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 6.

It is, however, clarified that in case the petitioners feel that they have still not been provided with the possession, they would be at liberty to revive the present contempt petition.
