The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Along with the petition, the petitioner has placed on record a show cause notice dated 4th June, 2024, followed by a demolition order dated 13th June, 2024, in respect of the petitioner's property, i.e. ground floor in the property bearing no. L-2/151A, DDA Flats, Kalkaji, New Delhi (hereinafter 'subject property').

It is stated that respondents no.3 and 4, who are residing on the first floor of the subject property, are not permitting the unauthorised portion to be demolished.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents no.3 and 4 submits that the respondents have no objection to the demolition of the unauthorised construction on the ground floor.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD submits that the demolition action has been planned for today, i.e. 4th May, 2026. 6.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of, while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to carry on with the demolition action planned in respect of the unauthorized construction on the ground floor of the subject property.

The respondent no.2/SHO, P.S.: Kalkaji, shall provide the necessary Police force for carrying out the demolition action. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Pending application stands disposed of.

In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
