By way of present application, the applicant/petitioner seeks condonation of 4 days' delay in re-filing the petition. 2.

The present Petition under Section 29 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitrator till June, 2024 for passing the Award. 5.
It is submitted in the petition that the mandate of the Arbitrator expired on 13.05.2023 and the present petition has been filed on 19.01.2024. 6.

the present petition has been filed after seven months, he submits that the last proceedings before the Arbitrator took place sometime in May, 2023, however, due to certain personal difficulties, the matter could not be listed and taken up, thereafter.

Therefore, it is requested that the mandate of the Arbitrator may be extended till June, 2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that she has no objection if the application is allowed.

In view of the submissions made, the mandate of the Arbitrator is hereby extended till June, 2024.
