O R D E R
% 29.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 were known to each other since they were living in the same locality. They are in the same business. A quarrel took place between them which led to registration of FIR No. 1204/2015 under Sections 392/506/34 IPC at police station Jamia Nagar, on the complaint of respondent no.2. With the intervention of their common friends, petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 16th February, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Dinesh Kumar of police station Jamia Nagar. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, he does not wish to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to costs of `10,000/- to be deposited by each of the petitioners with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within four weeks. Receipt, evidencing deposit of costs, be handed over to the Investigating Officer.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
