The present petitions have been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.278/2023 registered under Sections 323/341/506/34/308 IPC at P.S. Alipur, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. Since the petitions relate to the same FIR, the present cases are being considered together. As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, there was scuffle between the petitioners and respondent No.2, wherein the former abused and beat the latter.

Learned APP for the State submits that w.r.t the present FIR the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No. 2 is the only complainant/victim. The case is at the stage of investigation. 3.
Learned counsels for the parties submit that with the intervention of family members and respectable persons of the society, the parties have settled their disputes vide distinct Compromise Deed dated 19.04.2023 and 21.04.2023. As per the terms of settlement, respondent No.2 is left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners. It is further submitted that no other proceedings are pending between the parties. 4.
The petitioners as well as respondent No. 2, who are present in the Court, are identified by their respective counsels as well as by the Investigating Officer.

Respondent No.2 states he has entered into the aforementioned Compromise Deed out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He also states that he has no objection if the present FIRs and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements and undertaking made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- by each petitioner to be deposited with Delhi State Legal Services Authority within two weeks. amount so deposited shall be utilized by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority for providing counselling/psychological support to POCSO victims requiring such assistance.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the I.O. as well as in Court.

Let a copy of the said order be communicated to Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority for information 10.
With the above directions, the petitions are disposed of along with pending application(s).
