Pursuant to the order dated 04.05.2026, a medical report dated 12.05.2026 has been placed on record, alongwith the prescriptions issued by the Departments of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery at Safdarjung Hospital.

A perusal of the medical report shows that no fresh prescription has been issued by the Department of Orthopaedics.

However, the Department of Neurosurgery has advised the applicant to use a lumbosacral belt and to continue physiotherapy exercises, in addition to the medication already prescribed.

cannot be adequately provided and facilitated through the jail authorities. 4.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the applicant on interim bail at this stage.

The jail authorities are, however, directed to ensure that the applicant continues to receive the requisite medical treatment, including physiotherapy, in accordance with medical advice. It is further clarified that the applicant shall be at liberty to approach the learned Sessions Court afresh in the event of any emergent necessity. 6.

The application is accordingly disposed of in the above terms.
