The Petitioner has approached this Court challenging the Order dated 17.01.2022 passed by the Ld. ADJ, New Delhi District, Patiala House Court, Delhi directing the Petitioner to give 07 days advance notice to the accused before arrest.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Department has already filed a complaint against the Respondent and the matter is coming up before the Trial Court for taking cognizance on 23.08.2024.

Without commenting on the correctness or otherwise of the Order dated 17.01.2022, wherein the learned ASJ had directed that seven days notice be given to the accused before arresting him, which has been frowned upon by the Apex Court, this Court is inclined to dispose of the matter as having become infructuous.
