% 08.02.2018 Respondent No.2 Ayesha is present in court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Chhote Lal of Police Station Punjabi Bagh. Respondent No. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner No.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Counselling Cell, Tis Hazari Courts on 03.08.2017.

Petitioner no.1 has handed over `80,000/- by way of demand draft towards balance settled amount. Respondent no.2 says that with this payments, entire settled amount of `2,50,000/- stands received and she further says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner No.1 and his

relatives being petitioner Nos. 2-4.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner No.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, I am of the view no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioners, accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.762/2015 under Sections 498A/406/506/509/34 IPC registered at police station Punjabi Bagh and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
