This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking the following relief:- "a. Direct the Respondent no.1 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner from respondent no.2."

It is averred in the petition that Petitioner was employed with Respondent No. 2, who is engaged in the business of garments showroom. On 18.11.2023, Respondent No. 2 pressurised the Petitioner to make allegations against one Gangu that he had misbehaved with the Petitioner W.P.(CRL) 1133/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and called the police, which the Petitioner refused to do. Subsequently, Respondent No. 2 allegedly made an objectionable video of the Petitioner and threatened to viral the same, if she did not make a complaint against the said Gangu. Under this pressure, Petitioner lodged a complaint and FIR No. 486/2023 came to be registered. However, after some time, Petitioner decided to disclose the correct facts, as she did not want any innocent person to be implicated in a false case. When Respondent No. 2 realised that Petitioner was disclosing the truth to other persons, he started threatening her. Petitioner made a complaint to the police in this regard and sought protection, but on getting no response has approached this Court. 5.

Issue notice.

Mr. Ansari, learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State and states that mobile number of the Beat Constable of the concerned area shall be provided to the Petitioner, on which she will be at liberty to call in case any help or assistance is required.

This petition is accordingly disposed of directing the IO, who is present in Court, to furnish the mobile number of the Beat Constable of the area to the Petitioner, during the course of the day. Petitioner will be at liberty to contact the Beat Constable on the mobile number so provided, if any help is required and needless to state that assistance will be rendered by the Beat Constable, if and when sought.
