The petitioner is an association of teaching employees who were employed as members of the faculty in various technical institutes under the Department of Training and Technical Education ["DTTE"], Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. In the year 2019, the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Act was enacted, whereby various Institutes of Technology were merged into the respondent No. 2 - Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University ["the University"]. By a notification dated 16.04.2021, employees of the erstwhile institutes, including the petitioners, were placed at the disposal of the University.

The petitioners have since superannuated and have filed this writ petition for release of pension and other retiral benefits, reimbursement of medical and LTC bills, and interest on delayed payment of salary. 4.

It is contended that the respondents have not replied to the petitioners' representation dated 08.11.2024 in this regard. 5.

In order to give the respondents an opportunity to consider the matter administratively, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the matter will be considered by the DTTE and the University in coordination, and the grievances of the petitioners will be addressed by a speaking order within eight weeks from today. 6.

The rights and contentions of the petitioners are reserved, to be agitated in appropriate proceedings in the event of an adverse order. 7.

In the event any further information is required, the respondents may seek further information from the petitioner - Association, including by a communication addressed to Mr. Praveen Swarup, learned counsel for the petitioners.
