By way of the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners seek, inter alia, directions upon respondent Nos. 2 to 7 to register an FIR against the concerned Delhi Police officer for assaulting petitioner No. 2 on 18.04.2026.

After some arguments, Mr. Shivam, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this petition without prejudice to the remedies of the petitioner before the Magistrate's Court, and also to enable them to pursue their complaint before the Police Complaints Authority.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the above submissions.
