% 29.01.2018 Petitioner is seeking anticipatory protection.

FIR No.1352/2017 has been registered under Sections 376/506 of the IPC at police station Mangol Puri on the complaint of the complainant. Statement of the victim (stated to be 27 years of age) has been perused. The unfortunate incident had taken place with her on 24.10.2017. FIR has been registered on 27.10.2017. Statement of the victim is supported by the medical evidence which suggests that her hymen was torn. It has been brought to the notice of the Court that the victim is an unmarried lady. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the victim has extorted the petitioner and in fact a case of extortion is pending against her on similar allegation. Learned counsel for the State in rejoinder points out that the

petitioner has 11 cases pending against him and non-bailable warrants have also been issued against him. No ground is made out for grant of anticipatory protection. Dismissed.
