Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the principal amount in question has already been paid by the respondent. 2.

However, he submits that the interest calculated @ 12% per annum as mentioned in para 9 of judgment dated 15.04.2023 has yet not been paid. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that they are actively processing the interest component and the same would be positively cleared within a period of six weeks from today. Interest component is stated to be around Rs. 4 lac though learned counsel for the respondent submits that he is not very sure about the exact amount.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he is making such statement on the basis of specific instructions which he has received from the concerned department.

Learned counsel for petitioner, therefore, at the moment does not press the present contempt.

In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of as not pressed. 8.

However in case, the amount is not remitted within a period of six weeks from today, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the present contempt petition by moving appropriate application. 9.

A copy of this order be given dasti to both the sides. 10.

Respondent would also be at liberty to send copy of this order to the concerned finance department so that there is no further delay with respect to the payment of interest component.
