O R D E R

% 09.01.2019 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 9 are related to each other.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue wherein respondent nos. 2 to 8 had sustained simple injuries. This incident had led to registration of FIR No. 377/2013 under Sections 308/506/34 IPC against the petitioners at police station Fatehpur Beri, on the complaint of respondent no.7.

It is noted that petitioner no.2 is missing since the year 2015 and FIR No. 12/2016 has been registered in this regard. It is further noted that during the pendency of present FIR respondent no. 7 has expired. It is submitted that petitioner nos. 1 and 3 to 7 and respondent nos. 2

to 6, 8 and 9 have amicably settled the matter vide Compromise Deed dated 02.02.2018, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 1, 3, 4, and 7 have also deposited `15,000/- each with the Delhi High Court Bar Association Employees Welfare Fund towards the costs. Respondent nos. 2 to 6, 8 and 9 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Sandeep of police station Fatehpur Beri.

These respondents submit that they have settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioners nos. 1, 3 to 7 and respondent nos. 2 to 6, 8 and 9 are related to each other and they have amicably settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relations with each other, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
