O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking quashing of FIR No. 19/2022 registered under Sections 324/506 IPC at P.S. Jaffarpur Kalan, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner caused injuries to respondent No.2 using a knife.

Mr. Sabharwal, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is the only accused person and respondent No. 2 is the complainant/victim in the present case. He further submits that in the present case charge sheet has been filed under the aforesaid sections. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties are related to each other as the petitioner is the daughter-in-law of respondent No.2/ complainant and that the parties have amicably settled their disputes vide The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dated 28.03.2024. In terms of the settlement, complainant is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioner.

The petitioner, who is present in Court, has been identified by her counsel as well as the I.O./SI Ramphal, P.S. J.P. Kalan and SI Deepika, P.S. Kalkaji. Respondent No.2, who is also present in Court, has been identified by the I.O.

Petitioner has shown remorse for her conduct and undertakes not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No. 2 states that she has entered into the aforementioned MoU with the petitioner out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion and has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 10.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
