This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing/setting aside of order dated 08.12.2023 in CA 211/2023, titled "Ms. Praveen Arora Proprietor of M/s Daga Apparels v. M/s Sultan Chand & Sons Pvt. Ltd.", whereby Petitioner has been directed to deposit at least 20% of the compensation awarded by the Trial Court within 60 days from the date of the order in terms of Section 148 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Mr. Aniket Bose enters appearance on behalf of the Respondents. 6.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that in 4 similar petitions filed in this Court against orders of the Appellate Court directing deposit of 20% compensation concerning the same complainant, by consent orders direction has been issued for deposit of 10% compensation and impugned orders have been modified to that extent. Copy of one such order dated 05.04.2024 passed in CRL.M.C. No. 2734/2024 has been handed over and is taken on record. Counsel for Respondents does not dispute this fact and on instructions gives consent for modification of the order. 7.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, impugned order dated 08.12.2023 directing the Petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation awarded in favour of the Respondents is modified to the extent that Petitioner shall deposit 10% of the compensation amount within a period of three weeks from today.
