By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: "a) Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the Respondents to immediately conduct the required cardiac medical procedure of the Petitioner's husband in a timebound manner. b) Direct the Respondents to present complete medical records of the Petitioner's Husband from 01.04.2026 till date c) Direct the Respondents to allow the family members of the Petitioner's husband, on a rotational basis and one at a time, to remain present and provide necessary attendant care during his treatment and hospitalization."

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, as per the information, the husband of the petitioner/ Anil Mohan Bharadwaj (hereinafter referred to as 'inmate') has since been operated yesterday at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as 'hospital') and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to press for the limited relief allowing the son of the petitioner i.e., Mr. Shiva Bhardwaj, to remain present along with the inmate as an attendant, so as to provide necessary care to the inmate during his stay at the Hospital.

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State accepts notice and submits that he has no objection to the limited relief sought by the petitioner herein.

As such, in view of the peculiar facts and circumstances as also considering the non-objection given by the learned ASC, the present petition is allowed.

Accordingly, Mr. Shiva Bhardwaj is allowed to remain present with the inmate throughout the period of his stay at the Hospital, albeit, subject to following conditions:

i. The stay of Mr. Shiva Bhardwaj at the Hospital will be subject to rules and regulations of the Hospital. ii.

Mr. Shiva Bhardwaj will not carry his mobile phone(s) while visiting the inmate.

iii.

The visitation of the attendants during the stay of the inmate in the Hospital shall be restricted and necessary permission(s), if any, would be required to be secured from the concerned Jail Authorities or their representative.

Considering the factual matrix involved, especially the condition of the husband of the petitioner/ inmate, it is deemed appropriate to direct the respondent to supply the copy of medical documents of the inmate, including the report of various tests conducted to the son of the petitioner. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
