Applicant seeks extension of interim bail granted to him by this Court on 20.04.2026.

The mother of the applicant was found admitted in PGI Rohtak and was, reportedly, suffering from breast cancer. 3.

As per the report submitted by the prosecution on 20.04.2026, the mother had already undergone surgery on 16.04.2026 and the surgery was in relation to a lump suspected to be cancerous. Interim bail was granted, while observing as under:- "6. Undoubtedly, there are other family members of the applicant who have taken care of the mother of applicant but, at the same time, keeping in mind the age of the mother of applicant and the fact that she has undergone a surgery with respect to the tumor-growth in her breast area, and the fact that the next date before the learned Trial Court is 11.05.2026, on humanitarian grounds, the applicant herein is granted interim bail for a period of ten days, to be reckoned from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond and surety bond in a sum of Rs.

25,000/- each subject to satisfaction of concerned learned Trial Court. The applicant now seeks extension of the abovesaid bail by another period of 45 days.

However, he has not been able to justify the extension for the abovesaid period.

The medical record rather indicate that his mother is recovering fast and thus there is no real need for him to be beside her, when his siblings can always take care of his mother.

Since the bonds were submitted by him only on 25.04.2026, he is required to surrender today.

The application is disposed of with the direction to him to surrender on 09.05.2026. The extension for the abovesaid period would be on same terms and conditions, as specified in order dated 20.04.2026. 9.

A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
