% 23.07.2020 CRL.M.As. Nos. 9750-51/2020 (for exemption) Exemption allowed, subject to just exceptions. The applications stand disposed of.

CRL. M.A. No. 9749/2020 The applicant was granted interim bail vidé order dated 13.07.2020 for a period of 10 days to attend the chalisvan of his late grandmother.

By way of the present application, the applicant seeks extension of interim bail so granted. Although certain additional medical grounds have also been cited in the application, it is stated by the applicant that vidé order dated 13.07.2020 made by a Full Bench of BAIL APPL. 1672/2020 Page of

this court in W.P.(C) No. 3037/2020 titled Court on its own Motion vs. State & Ors., such interim bail orders have been extended till 31.08.2020.

By order dated 13.07.2020 made by the Full Bench, it has inter alia been clarified that, in view of the serious threat of spread of the coronavirus pandemic in prison, where undertrials are on interim bail as on the date of that order, irrespective of whether they were released before or after 16.03.2020, such interim orders shall stand extended till 31.08.2020 on the same terms and conditions as were imposed earlier.

Accordingly, in view of the mandate of the Full Bench, the interim bail granted to the applicant vidé order dated 13.07.2020 stands extended to 31.08.2020 on the same terms and conditions as imposed earlier.

The application stands disposed of.

Other pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 7.

A copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent. 8.

For the record, Bail Appl. No. 1672/2020 already stands disposed of vidé order dated 13.07.2020.
