This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Concession Agreement dated 21.11.2001.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended by mutual consent for a period of six months from 25.11.2023. I am informed that the proceedings are now at the stage of final arguments. 3.
Mr. Suvir Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.
