Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel (Crl) for the State with Ms. Priyam Aggarwal, submit that as per the latest information received from the jail, the petitioner has already been taken to AIIMS for providing him with requisite medical attention.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also acknowledges the abovesaid development and prays for no further relief, at least, at this stage of the matter. 3.
He, however, submits that his application seeking parole is pending consideration before the Competent Authority and keeping in mind his medical condition, the Competent Authority may be requested to consider the same, expeditiously.

released on interim bail way back on 24.11.2000 and was, eventually, re-arrested on 24.04.2026.

Be that as it may, keeping in mind the stated medical condition of the petitioner, the Competent Authority is requested to take appropriate decision with respect to the application regarding grant of parole, as expeditiously as possible.
