After making brief submissions, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, confines his prayer to the extent of allowing the crossexamination of the petitioner to be conducted through video conferencing mode.

The aforesaid submission is not opposed by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.

In view of the aforesaid, no directions on transfer of the petition, as such are required. In case the petitioner approaches the Trial Court with the prayer for allowing the cross examination of the petitioner through video conferencing mode, the Court below shall consider the aforementioned prayer in accordance with extant rules.
