% 14.07.2020 This hearing has been held by video conferencing. CM No.14977/2020 (Exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(C) 4158/2020 & CM No. 14976/2020 1.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner seeking registration as a Multi System Operator (MSO) in a Digital Addressable System Area has been rejected only on the ground that the petitioner was having a negative net worth at the time of filing of the application. He submits that subsequent thereto, the petitioner has achieved positive net worth and would be applying afresh to the respondent for registration as a MSO. He, however, apprehends that the application may not be decided in a time bound manner.
2.
The present petition is disposed of directing the respondent to expedite the consideration of the application, as and when filed by the petitioner, and
take a decision thereon within a period of six weeks of the receipt of the same. There shall be no order as to cost.
