The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to respondent-MCD to stop unauthorised construction being carried out at property No.210-A, Ward No.2, Near Durga Apartment, Mehrauli, New Delhi by respondent no.4. Photographs of the unauthorised construction have been filed along with the writ petition. 3.

submits that the show cause notice has been issued on 27th April, 2026 with regard to unauthorised construction on the ground, first and second floor of the subject property.

3.1 Counsel has handed over the show cause notice in Court and the same is taken on record.

Counsel for the MCD further submits that on 29th April, 2026, work stop notice has been sent to the SHO, Police Station Mehrauli, calling upon the police to ensure that no unauthorised construction activity is carried out. A communication has also been sent to Sub-Registrar, Mehrauli and to Delhi Jal Board intimating them about the unauthorised construction being carried out in the subject property.

4.1 Counsel has handed over the aforesaid documents in Court and the same are taken on record.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondent-MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law and to ensure that no construction is carried out in the subject property. 6.

Liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies as per law in the event the petitioner has further grievance. 7.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondent no.4 are kept open.

All pending applications stand disposed of.
