The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-MCD to inspect the property of the private respondents no.3 and 4 at Ground Floor, Flat No. B-3/18, Sunrise Apartments, Sector-13, Rohini, Delhi (hereinafter 'subject property') and remove the unauthorised construction therein. Photographs have been filed along with writ petition showing the unauthorised construction.

Mr. Harshit Chopra appearing for the respondent-MCD submits that a show cause notice has been issued to the private respondents no.3 and 4 on 24th March, 2026 regarding unauthorised construction in the form of W.P.(C) 6117/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. deviation/excess coverage on the Ground Floor. 3.
Subsequently, a demolition order has also been passed on 15th April, 2026.

Counsel appearing for the private respondents no.3 and 4 submits that they have filed an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal, MCD against the aforesaid demolition order.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law, subject to any order that may be passed by the Appellate Tribunal, MCD.
