% 30.07.2020 [Hearing held through video conferencing] 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking interim bail for a period of forty-five days on the ground that his mother is ailing and there is no one to look after her.

The status report has been filed which indicates that the inquiries were made and the petitioner's mother could not produce any medical papers regarding her alleged ailments. The petitioner has also not filed any medical documents to indicate that she is suferring from any ailments as claimed. The status report also indicates that the petitioner's mother was found residing with her daughter-in-law and her grandson. 3.

Thus, the contention that there is no one to look after the petitioner's mother is not substantiated.

The petitioner's application for regular bail is now listed on

22.08.2020.

In the circumstances, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition. The same is dismissed.
