O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing No. 0399/2016 under Sections 420/467/468/471/120B/34 of IPC registered with P.S. Ranhola (West), Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2 (Raju Gupta).

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. He states that he has resolved all his disputes with the petitioners and has no further grievance against them. He further states that he has received the consideration as set out in the compromise deed dated 28.12.2018 except a sum of ₹80,000/-. He states that on receiving the sum of ₹80,000/-, he would have no further claim against the petitioners.

The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel.

They have today handed over a demand draft for a sum of ₹80,000/- (Demand Draft No. 867727 dated 21.09.2019 drawn on Punjab National Bank) to respondent no.2. A photocopy of the demand draft is taken on record. Respondent no.2 has accepted the said demand draft as full and final settlement as his claims.

The petitioners also state that they have no grievance against respondent no. 2.

The petitioners have also paid a sum of ₹10,000/- in cash as costs to respondent no.2 in terms of the order dated 25.04.2019. 7.

In view of the above statements made by the petitioners and respondent no.2, the petition is allowed and FIR bearing No. 399/2016 under Sections 420/467/468/471/120B/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Ranhola (West), Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. 8.
