% 13.08.2020 (Video Conference Hearing) BAIL APPLN. 1719/2020 & CRL.M.(BAIL) 7660/2020 The applicant is accused of holding the victim while the co-accused Joginder Dubey fired a shot from a country-made pistol, which hit the victim on his right hip. The victim was admitted to the hospital on the date of the incident i.e. 14.06.2020 and discharged on 21.06.2020. While the main accused Joginder Dubey is stated to be in JC, the other co-accused Dharmender Dubey is extended protection from arrest by the Court vide order dated 30.07.2020 in Bail Appln. 1981/2020 'Dharmender Dubey v. The State'. During the course of hearing, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, ld. APP for the State while conceding to such facts also states that the challan has already been filed and the applicant is no more required for any further

investigations and that, the status report to that effect as called for by the Court on the last date of hearing, has already been filed. Taking into account the totality of facts and circumstances and the prevailing conditions on account of Covid-19 pandemic, the applicant is admitted to bail on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned and after his release, he shall also arrange for a surety to furnish surety bond for the similar amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Magistrate/Trial Court within seven days of the resumption of regular functioning of the Court.
