% 06.08.2020 (hearing through Video Conferencing) The status report dated 31.7.2020 has been submitted by the State pursuant to the directions dated 27.7.2020 under the signatures of the ACP, Crime Branch which indicates that relations between the petitioner's parental family and his own family are not cordial as a consequence of which the grand mother of the applicant who lives at J-136, Dakshinpuri and the landlady Smt.Krishna lookafter the applicant's wife. The status report that has been submitted previously indicates to the effect that the applicant's wife had slipped and her right hip had dislocated. Hospital, Dilshad Garden, she had been advised an X-Ray and skin traction, and that thus whereby the applicant seeks the grant of interim bail for a period of 30 days. It has further been submitted on behalf of the State as also stated through the status report dated 24.7.2020 submitting that applicant was found allegedly in possession of 500 gms of contraband of commercial quantity and embargo of Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985 would apply.

On behalf of the applicant it has been submitted that the status report that has been submitted on behalf of the State indicates that the applicant's wife needs to be looked after for her medical condition. On a consideration of the submissions made on behalf of either side, in as much as the applicant's wife as per the status report that was submitted previously indicates that she is unable to move and has been advised skin traction and that there is no one to take her to the hospital for the same, the applicant in the interest of justice is allowed to be released on interim bail for a period of 15 days on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.

50,000/- with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court with the condition that he shall not leave the city and shall keep his mobile phone on at all time and shall drop a pin on the Google map to ensure that his location is available to the Investigating Officer, shall not make any contact with the prosecution witnesses and shall surrender on the 15th day of his release before the Jail Superintendent. The petition is disposed of.
