By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners seek demarcation of their land situated in Khasra No. 1450/953 min/40 (5-03) in the revenue estate of Village Mandawali Fazalpur, Illaqa Shahdara, Delhi.

By order dated 15.05.2025, learned counsel for respondents were directed to take instructions, with respect to the petitioner's request. 3.

Pursuant to the aforesaid order, Mr. Manashwy Jha, learned counsel for Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"], and Mr. Anish Dhingra, learned counsel for Delhi Development Authority ["DDA"] have entered appearance, and submit that the village in question was urbanised by notification issued in 1966, W.P.(C) 6960/2023 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and therefore the land in question has been handed over to Delhi Development Authority ["DDA"].

There is some controversy between DDA and GNCTD as to who is to carry out the demarcation. In any event, it is submitted that DDA would require the assistance of the Revenue Authorities, GNCTD, to undertake the task.

DDA and GNCTD are therefore directed to coordinate action amongst themselves and ensure that the demarcation exercise is carried out within eight weeks from today. It is understood that the Total Station Method will be employed, and the work undertaken would be at the expense of the petitioners.

The writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of with these directions.
