This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeking inter alia Mandamus directing respondent to correctly fix the seniority of the petitioners pursuant to order dated 17.10.2022 passed by the respondent, with all consequential benefits. 4.

Mr. Harpreet Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the grievance of the petitioners have been pending for a very long time, this Court may direct the respondent to consider the present writ petition as a representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within stipulated period of time.

There is no objection on behalf of the respondent to such suggestion. 8.
In view of the above said submission of Mr. Singh, the present petition is directed to be treated as a representation by the respondent and disposed of in accordance with rules and regulations within four weeks from today.

An opportunity of hearing may be granted to one of the petitioners in a representative capacity on behalf of all the petitioners. Needless to note that the said order shall be furnished to be petitioner forthwith thereafter, who will have a right to take appropriate measures to challenge the same, if required.
