The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the concerned SHO to lodge an FIR under Sections 406/420/468/471/506 IPC against respondent no.2 for committing forgery, cheating and fraud.

Mr Mehra, learned counsel appearing for respondents points out that the petitioner has an alternate remedy to apply under Section 154(3) read with 36 of the CrPC and thereafter, approach the Magistrate under Section 156(3) of CrPC.

The petition is dismissed in default.

5.

This would not preclude the petitioner from availing alternate remedies.
