% 18.11.2019 Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of 21st February, 2009 passed by the competent authority vide which his application seeking furlough has been rejected on the ground that three punishments in jail have been added to the discredit of petitioner.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State points out that as per status report dated 24th July, 2019, the last punishment inflicted upon petitioner was on 16th August, 2016 and since then three years period has lapsed and that petitioner can now seek furlough before the competent authority.
In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with liberty to W.P.(Crl.) 1202/2019
petitioner to seek furlough before the competent authorities with liberty to approach this court in case it is rejected.
