Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the relief sought in the present petition stands substantially satisfied in terms of the letter dated 07th April, 2026 issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Patna Bench, which is taken on record and reads as follows:
"Sub: WP No. 5364/2024 filed by Sh. Mahesh Chander Verma, ExMember, CAT before Hon'ble High Court of Delhi - Reg. Sir, I am directed to say that Hon'ble Shri Mahesh Chander Verma, ExJudicial Member/HoD has superannuated on 31.07.2023. After retirement, his Lordship applied for New CGHS Pensioner card on 01.08.2023 vide A/c No. 12947536 (Annexure-1) and the payment was made in two part i.e. (1st part) Rs. 6,000/- (Annexure-2).
In this regard, it is relevant to mention here that, in pursuance of order in WPC No. 5364/2024, High Court of New Delhi, the CGHS Headquarters, R.K. Puram, New Delhi has clarified (Annexure-3) that Shri Mahesh Chander Verma is eligible for CGHS Pensioner Card for beyond retirement after depositing the requisite fee. Accordingly, the rest amount (2nd part) of Rs. 1,14,000/- was made The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. through Bharat Kosh to DDO (DY. DIR. CGHS, Indu Bhavan Boring Road Gandhi Nagar, Patna-800 001) (Annexure-4) but the card has not yet been issued. Thus causing delay in issuance of CGHS card. You are therefore, requested to direct the concern authorities to transfer an aggregate amount of Rs. 1,20,000/- which was paid to DDO (DY. DIR. CGHS, INDU BHAVAN BORING ROAD GANDHI NAGAR, PATNA - 800 001) to New Delhi DDO i.e. 221030-AO, CGHS (HQ), R.K. Puram, New Delhi; PAO 021029-PAO (CGHS), New Delhi, so that, CGHS, New Delhi may issued CGHS Pensioner card to Hon'ble Shri Mahesh Chander Verma, Ex-Judicial Member/HoD without any further inconvenience, please.
The WPC No. 5364/2024 is listed for 13.04.2026 before High Court of New Delhi (Annexure-5)."

In view of the aforesaid communication, it is submitted that the remaining steps for issuance of the CGHS Pensioner Card are now required to be undertaken by the Additional Director, Central Government Health Scheme. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Additional Director, CGHS, to act in terms of the letter dated 07th April, 2026 issued by the CAT, Patna Bench, and ensure compliance within a period of two weeks from today. In the event any further formalities are required, the same shall be duly intimated to the Petitioner. 3.
