The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "(i) For the protection and safety of the life, money and property of the petitioner and owner of the property bearing no. B-100, Swasthya Vihar, Delhi-110092."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she was working as a domestic help of one Dr. Satya Gupta, who is aged about 95 years and is owner of the property bearing No. B-100, Swasthya Vihar, Delhi-110092. She submits that Dr. Satya Gupta on his own had transferred an amount of Rs. 23 Lakhs to the account of the present petitioner with an intention to help the present petitioner and to compensate her for the services she has rendered to Dr. Satya Gupta.

She submits that the present petitioner apprehends for her life as she is being threatened by respondent nos. 4 - 7 and a complaint in this regard has already been made by the petitioner at police station Preet Vihar East, on which no action has been taken.

Issue notice. Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice. He submits that the respondent no. 7 is a relative of Dr. Satya Gutpa whereas respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 are the persons who have also similarly received money in their accounts from the account of Dr. Satya Gupta.

He further points out that one of the relative of Dr. Satya Gupta had made a complaint to the police on 16.03.2024 whereas the complaint made by the present petitioner is subsequent thereto. 8.

He submits that insofar as the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is concerned, necessary action will be taken by the police in accordance with law.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has confined her prayer to the protection and safety for her life. She submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case necessary directions are issued in that behalf. Considering the limited prayer which does not require filing of status report by the State, the present petition is taken up for disposal with the consent of the parties.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the SHO of the Police Station Preet Vihar to share his mobile number, as well as, the mobile numbers of the beat constables of the area. In the event, any distress call is received from the petitioner, it is directed that the same shall be attended to on an urgent basis in accordance with law. 12.
