The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the minor son of the petitioner.

The learned Standing Counsel for the State has handed over a Status Report dated 19.05.2026. The same is taken on record. 3.
The son of the petitioner has since come back to the petitioner. 4.

The FIR registered by the respondents at Police Station, Jamia Nagar, bearing No. 150/26, on the disappearance of the minor son of the petitioner shall also stand quashed.
